Lake Houston Chamber Book Drive
Quick reminder to put something on the 7:45 website regarding the Book Drive.
Here are some of the details:
What: Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce – Education Committee Annual Book Drive
When: Now through April 30th
What's Needed: New and/or gently used books for elementary-aged children (K-5/6)
Where: Bring all books to 7:45 Networking meetings and I will gather and deliver to HISD.
Who Benefits: Books will be given to underprivileged students at the end of the school year to encourage them to read over the summer
If anyone has any questions or needs me to pick up books at their home just have them contact me through my info on the website.

Open House - Shelf Genie

Opening
Cherry Designs, Inc. is opening their new Gift and Art Gallery on September 15th. Come and shop their artist designed blown glass and hand painted Christmas ornaments along with other local artists work of art. We we will be open Tues - Thurs 10-5, Fri. 10-8 and Sat 10-5.

AABY looking 2010 calendar stars
Does your pet have star appeal? Your special friend can be featured in the 2010 AABY Superstar Calendar. Stop by Pampered Paws Boutique, located at 3019 Woodland Hills, on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 12 - 3 p.m. and have your pet’s photo taken. A panel of judges will choose 13 pets, one for each month and one for the cover. There will be refreshments for both dogs and humans. The deadline for submissions is Aug. 15. Entries can also be done through AABY’s Web site, www.aaby.org or at the AABY Thrift Shop, located at 24551 Loop 494. The entry fee is $10 or $5 with a minimum $20 Pampered Paws Boutique purchase.
